The Psychosocial Interventions: A Mental Health Approach for Adults is a Certificate Course designed to equip participants with essential skills in mental healthcare. The primary objectives are to understand the effectiveness and applicability of different therapeutic interventions and to build appropriate skills for the assessment and treatment of adults with common mental health disorders. The course outcome promises that, after completion, students will have a greater understanding of the principle, concept, theories, and effectiveness of psychosocial interventions, including the ability to critically evaluate them within their own cultural context. They will also improve the skills needed to work in mental health settings, especially with adult mental health disorders.

Course Structure and Details

The course is structured into two levels:

Level 1: Introduction to Mental Health Disorders & Psychological Screening and Assessment of Mental Health Problems.

Level 2: Psychosocial Intervention/Fieldwork (Case Reports/Case Conferences).

The course has a Total Duration of 3 Months, with classes held on Friday and Saturday. The monthly fee is Rs. 10,000. Registration starts from 20th January 2023, and Classes start from 10th March 2023. Limited seats are available, with a 30% discount offered for early bird registration.

This course is specially tailored for students of BS and M.S Psychology/Applied Psychology/Clinical Psychology/Behavioral Sciences.
