About Digital Remedial
DIGITAL REMEDIAL is a platform geared to harness the power of digital technology in mental health care. This platform offers a wide range of technology driven services and solutions, including telemedicine, electronic health records, mobile health, wearable devices, health information system , e-Pharmacy. Additionally ,it focuses on the education and training of healthcare professionals ,preparing them with necessary knowledge and skills to excel in digitally driven healthcare field.
More than 85% of world population lives in 153 low- and middle-income countries (LMICS) and a very significant percentage of people who have mental disorders are residing in LMICS, thus there is a pressing need for improvements in mental healthcare delivery systems for low resource and underserved areas.
Our resolve is to further augment the domain of digital healthcare and help to build an eco system that covers all healthcare stages and patient care with a special focus on technology that is adaptable and designed for low resource environments. We intend to facilitate and promote adoption of digital tools into the existing mental health care and research sector with particular emphasis on LMICS.

DR Workstreams
Design, develop, and refine digital mental health tools and applications. Conduct usability testing and pilot studies to ensure user-friendliness and effectiveness. Explore emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, and virtual reality to enhance interventions.
Need to have a digital repository, periodic monitoring and updating of digital records on digital platforms of PILL and its collaborators where required, secure and well integrated access of content (app, web and publishing documents, etc.) with all stakeholders (CAMI, AISHA, TechCare-PK).
Develop e-learning programs for mental health professionals and CHWs on using digital mental health tools. Develop the next generation of digital mental health researchers in LMICs. Provide resources and guidelines for integrating digital solutions into existing mental health services. Organise workshops and webinars to share best practices and foster knowledge exchange.
Engage in advocacy campaigns to reduce mental health stigma and raise awareness. Collaborate with stakeholders to advocate for policy changes supporting the integration of digital mental health initiatives into healthcare systems.
Conduct research to evaluate the efficacy and impact of digital mental health interventions. Analyse data to identify patterns and trends in mental health issues and treatment outcomes. Continuously monitor and evaluate the workstreams to ensure effectiveness and relevance.
To provide oversight and performance management of projects within Digital Remedial, across all affiliate organisations at PILL. The work stream will ensure prioritisation of key works across the work streams and meeting appropriate timelines for reporting and submission of work.
To source and procure funding to ensure the sustainable development of DR, and to deliver measurable impact through academic publications.
