The Bioethics Summer Program is designed to enhance your understanding and application of bioethical principles and challenges in contemporary healthcare and research. Participants will learn from expert national and international faculty who will provide valuable insights to help you understand the complex ethical landscape of today’s healthcare and research environment.

Brief Course Outline

The program is structured into four main components:

Introduction to Bioethics (8 hours): This section covers the History of Bioethics, Bioethics Principles, and Branches of Bioethics, concluding with a Discussion & Q/A Session and Pre and Post Assessment.

Research and Ethics (12 hours): Topics include Good Clinical Practices, Standard of Clinical Care, and Research and Information Governance, also including a Discussion & Q/A Session and Pre and Post Assessment.

Ethics and Health Communications (2 hours): This module focuses on Ethics and Health Communications and Ethical Challenges in Global Health Research, followed by a Discussion & Q/A Session and Pre and Post Assessment.

Practical Assignment and Poster Presentations (6 hours): This practical component involves Case studies around different ethical dilemmas, Poster Presentations, and Group Discussions.
